I’ve been going to Dr. Skinner for years, and I honestly wouldn’t trust my pets with anyone else. I’d travel as far as I had to just to keep him as our vet. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely cares — the kind of vet who will go above and beyond, even doing extra research after hours to make sure your pet gets the best care possible. His staff is just as amazing — always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help with anything. Every visit, I leave feeling reassured and grateful, knowing my dog is in the best hands. Dr. Skinner is truly one of a kind. Thank you so much for everything that you have done for Cali.

The staff there are amazing. Accommodating for emergency visits. Dr. Skinner is kind and honest. He takes the time to walk you through your options for your fur baby so you don’t feel overwhelmed. You don’t feel like you’re being sold on unnecessary services. Would recommend to anyone that wants the best for their 4 legged babies.

Dr. Skinner has been my pets (dogs and cats) Veterinarian for 6 or 7 years now. I’m so happy he has opened his own clinic! Dr Skinner has a wonderful bedside manner, is very knowledgeable, and is so patient and kind with the animals. Even though I live East I will be making the drive West to Happy Tails so my dogs can continue to have wonderful medical care. Make your next vet appointment with Happy Tails… you will not be disappointed!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Happy Tails Veterinary Office. They took incredible care of my American Akita, Tokyo, and I will forever be grateful. I called first thing in the morning, extremely worried, explaining that I thought something serious was going on. They immediately accommodated us the same day, which already meant so much to me. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming, kind, and genuinely caring. They got straight to work and did everything in their power to figure out what was wrong with my fur baby. Once the issue was discovered, they were honest, clear, and let me know she needed immediate surgery. They wasted no time and took her straight to the operation room, where she had a very successful surgery. Tokyo is now home resting and recovering, and I truly believe Happy Tails saved her life. The compassion, urgency, and professionalism from the entire team was unmatched. I will be recommending Happy Tails to everyone I know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such amazing care of my girl. ❤️🐾

Dr. Skinner is amazing. He truly cares for the animals he is caring for and takes his time. He makes sure to explain every thoroughly and is always responsive when you have an emergency or any questions. I would never take my animals anywhere else!

If you are looking for a clean, welcoming, and kind office, this is your place! My dog and I found our way to Happy Tails after issues following a surgery done by another vet. To say we are happy we found this office is an understatement! The whole office is kind, compassionate, and welcoming. Dr. Skinner is very patient with my terrified puppy, and has given me ideas on how to work on his fear. Dr. Skinner takes his time to explain, listens to my concerns, and gives my dog time to warm up to being at the vet. I will be bringing my other dog here the next time he needs to be seen. Could not recommend this place more!

I recently brought my puppy Willow here for her first visit, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she received. The office is clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and you can tell they truly love animals. The vet was thorough, hands-on, and took the time to really get to know Willow and address all of our concerns. From one obsessed dog parent to another trust me, your anxiety (and your dog) will be in great hands here.

This is my big guy Spuds at his follow up appointment. He just had a MCT removed by Dr. Skinner. It is very hard to find a good veterinarian that doesn't rush you and who actually listens and addresses all your questions and concerns. We are so happy we found Dr. Skinner. The girls at the front desk are the best too!!! Everyone we have come in contact with is always very kind. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Skinner and his staff are simply the best. The office is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and Dr. Skinner treats all his patients like family. He takes the time to listen to concerns, educates pet parents, and truly cares about our pup’s quality of life beyond his clinical health.

I recently came to Happy Tails after the very very difficult decision to help my sweet old Charley cross over the rainbow bridge. He was very old and had several health issues that were causing a quick decline. I made the appointment with Sarah who was so kind and compassionate and patient with me (I was sobbing so naturally giving her info was a little challenging over the phone). 2 days later at the time of the appt, Dr. Skinner saw me enter the lobby crying and immediately brought me back to a private room and gave me a moment. Nicole and Dr. Skinner were extremely kind and did a thorough job explaining what the morning would look like and we discussed his overall health and they assured me my decision was the right one. They took great care during everything. My boy passed peacefully and about a week later he was returned to me. I wish I had known about this amazing practice before because it was beyond clean, extremely accommodating, kind, professional and compassionate. I HIGHLY recommend Happy Tails to anyone looking for a vet. Thank you so much Dr. Skinner and staff for making an incredibly difficult time much more tolerable.
